Basch Helps CIC has announced the launch of a major new series of articles and community discussions within its Mama Space platform, providing parents with practical guidance, peer support and trusted information on some of the biggest challenges facing London families today.
The new content series has been developed in response to the issues most frequently raised by parents accessing Basch Helps services, including housing insecurity, childcare affordability, SEND support, parental wellbeing, cost-of-living pressures and the growing use of technology to support family-run businesses.
The latest discussions and resources include:
- 🏠 Raising a Baby in Temporary Accommodation
- 👶 Understanding Free Childcare Entitlements
- 🧩 SEND Support and Waiting Lists
- 💙 Mum Burnout: Recognising the Signs
- 👨👩👧 Dad and Partner Corner
- 🌫️ Air Pollution and Your Child’s Health
- 🍽️ Feeding Your Family on a Tight Budget
- ❄️ Winter Survival Guide for London Parents
- 🚀 AI Tools Every Parent-Led Business Should Know
The resources are designed to complement Basch Helps’ wider support services, including the award-winning AngelBox programme, which has supported more than 11,000 newborns and toddlers across London, alongside Parent Space, befriending services and community-led support networks.
A spokesperson for Basch Helps CIC said:
“Parents today are navigating challenges that go far beyond nappies and baby equipment. Families are dealing with rising living costs, housing concerns, long waiting times for support services and increasing pressures on their mental wellbeing. Through Mama Space, we want to create a trusted community where parents can access reliable information, share experiences and feel less alone on their parenting journey.”
The new discussions encourage parents to contribute their own experiences, helping create one of London’s most comprehensive parent-led knowledge hubs focused on pregnancy, early years and family wellbeing.
