Basch Helps is guided by a management committee whose combined experience, expertise, and lived realities shape the direction, structure, and delivery of our work.
Since our founding in 2020, a total of 10 committee members have contributed to building and strengthening the organisation helping transform a grassroots initiative into a structured service supporting families across London.
Each member brings a unique perspective, informed not only by professional knowledge, but by real-life experiences and a shared commitment to supporting families at one of the most critical stages of life.
Their collective role is to ensure that Basch Helps remains focused, accountable, and responsive — maintaining high standards while continuing to evolve in line with the needs of the communities we serve.

Led by experience. Driven by purpose. United in the fight against baby poverty
A defining strength of our management committee is the depth of lived and shared experience that underpins the organisation. These experiences are not abstract — they are real, personal, and directly connected to the challenges many families face today.
Members have collectively experienced or supported situations involving:
These experiences bring an essential level of understanding to the organisation. They ensure that decisions are not made in isolation, but with a clear awareness of the practical, emotional, and financial realities families often navigate.
This perspective informs how services are designed, how support is delivered, and how families are engaged — ensuring that every interaction is grounded in empathy, dignity, and respect.
It also strengthens the organisation’s ability to respond sensitively to complex situations, recognising that each family’s circumstances are unique and require thoughtful, flexible support.
Alongside lived experience, the management committee brings a broad and complementary range of professional expertise. This enables Basch Helps to operate as a structured, well-managed organisation capable of delivering support reliably and at scale.
The committee’s collective experience spans multiple disciplines, including:
This combination of skills enables Basch Helps to move beyond informal support models and operate with clarity, structure, and accountability.
It ensures that AngelBox is delivered not only with compassion, but with precision — from sourcing and packing to allocation and delivery.
Members of the management committee also bring experience from international humanitarian work, contributing to charitable efforts beyond the UK and strengthening the organisation’s wider perspective on need and response.
This includes operational experience in:
This experience provides valuable insight into working in complex, high-pressure environments –Â where coordination, responsiveness, and effective resource management are critical.
While the nature of international humanitarian work differs from the delivery of AngelBox, the principles remain consistent:
This strengthens the organisation’s overall capability and reinforces its commitment to addressing need wherever it exists.
The management committee plays a central role in ensuring that Basch Helps continues to operate with purpose, integrity, and focus.
Their oversight supports:
The committee ensures that the organisation remains aligned with its core mission — balancing compassion with structure, and responsiveness with accountability.
It is through this leadership that Basch Helps has been able to evolve into a consistent and reliable system of support for families across London.
No child should begin life without the essentials they need.
This principle drives not only decision-making, but the ongoing development of the organisation and its services.
By combining lived experience, professional expertise, and a clear sense of purpose, the committee continues to support the growth of AngelBox as a structured, scalable system — ensuring that families can access the support they need when it matters most.
The work is ongoing, and the commitment remains — to continue strengthening services, expanding reach, and addressing baby poverty with practical, meaningful action.
