At Basch Helps CIC, we work with trusted suppliers to redirect new, unused baby essentials and equipment to families experiencing financial hardship.

What We Can’t Accept

To protect babies, families, and our partners, there are some items we are unable to accept. This helps ensure safety, compliance, and responsible distribution.
  • Used, opened, or refurbished items of any kind
  • Products without original packaging or clear traceability
  • Items past their expiry date or close to expiry
  • Recalled, damaged, or discontinued products with safety concerns
  • Non‑compliant items that do not meet current UK safety standards
  • Loose items without batch numbers, SKUs, or product identifiers
  • Medicines, supplements, or medical devices
  • Items requiring specialist clinical oversight

If you are unsure whether an item is suitable, our team is happy to advise before collection or delivery.

Supplier Enquiry Checklist

Before getting in touch, it’s helpful to have the following information available. This allows us to assess suitability quickly and ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient redistribution process:

Product type(s): e.g. nappies, wipes, formula, baby food, clothing, cots, feeding equipment

Condition: brand new, unused, and boxed

Quantities available: approximate unit or pallet counts

Expiry dates: where applicable (formula, food, toiletries)

Safety compliance: confirmation products meet current UK safety standards

Traceability: batch numbers, SKUs, or other product identifiers

Packaging status: original packaging, sealed cartons, palletised or loose

Location of stock: warehouse or distribution site

Time sensitivity: clearance deadlines or preferred collection window

Providing this information upfront helps us move quickly and ensures surplus stock can reach families safely and without delay.
