Referrals from professionals play a vital role in ensuring that families receive the right support at the right time particularly during pregnancy and the early stages of parenthood, when early intervention can have the greatest impact.
We work closely with healthcare professionals, local authorities, community organisations, and frontline services to identify families who may benefit from additional practical and emotional support. Many of the families referred to us are navigating complex or changing circumstances, where timely support can help reduce pressure, improve wellbeing, and create greater stability for both parent and child.

You may be eligible if you:

- 💷 Are experiencing financial pressure or uncertainty
- 🏡 Are facing challenges with housing, income, or stability
- 🤍 Feel you need support preparing for your baby
- 📍 Live within our service areas (primarily Greater London)
👉 You do not need to be in crisis — we support through early intervention

A referral may be appropriate where a family is:
- Unable to afford essential baby items
- At risk of increasing financial pressure
- Living in temporary or insecure housing
- Experiencing isolation or lack of support
- Recently affected by a change in circumstances

To ensure that our services are delivered in line with our funding requirements, capacity, and operational criteria, there are certain circumstances where we are unable to accept referrals.
👉 Referrers should carefully review the following before submitting a referral.
❌ We are unable to accept referrals where the applicant or their partner is:
- On a Student Visa
- On a Spouse/Partner Visa
- A Company Director (including self‑employed directors registered as such)
👉 This applies to both:
- The applicant themselves
- Their partner or household
