A huge welcome to our newest volunteer Mo who joined the family only recently and began his first volunteering experience delivering vital emergency relief packages in the borough of Camden with the first AngelBox being delivered for lovely twin babies.. Congratulations on your first delivery day and welcome to the Basch Helps family!
The cold weather is creeping into London and as always demand for AngelBox our baby emergency relief package is at an all time high particularly from families in the boroughs of Brent, Camden, Hammersmith & Fulham, Hillingdon, Hounslow & Westminster.
Direct Applications are taking slightly longer than usual to process and we apologise for this inconvenience but some of our office based volunteers are on annual leave & hopefully things should be back to normal soon. This has extended the usual response time from of up 3 days to 5 days.
During this summer especially, we’ve really noticed a huge rise in families living in some crazy off-key buildings purpose built for temporary accommodation dotted around London filled with labyrinth after labyrinth of corridors taking more time for our volunteers to help carry our boxes to parents homes, therefore please be patient if we’re a tad late it is getting harder to navigate traffic and some of these new buildings.
We also need volunteers this winter to support our efforts in distributing critical emergency relief packages around London, it’s really a welcoming chance for someone to really make a difference to parents and their newborn baby from day one.
So please take the time to go through our news and community services pages to give you an idea of what kind of valuable work you’ll be getting up to and take the time to go through our online volunteer application form.
We’re currently looking for volunteers to help us in the boroughs of Brent, Camden, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Hounslow, RBKC & Westminster especially those keen to join with full driving licenses.
Lastly our community service has survived 4 years, we’ve been through the worst possible moments in history from a monster virus to a financial crisis and together as a team we pulled through to benefit many families and their newborn children throughout London. Unfortunately this year we’ve had to begin cutting our services in some boroughs and it has been heart breaking!
We need your help to re-establish our services in some areas of London where parents desperately need our emergency relief package for their babies.
