Brent council has a range of support for those struggling with the rising costs. There is currently lots of support available including help with managing your finances.
The borough also has an online digital hub which provides information and support guides on how to access key services.

Their seven hubs, across the borough, work with a range of local organisations and Brent services to provide information, advice and support for housing, benefits, Council Tax, employment, digital support and much more. We can also provide emergency support for residents in urgent need, including food and fuel vouchers.

The Brent Family Wellbeing Centres provide a range of community-led services that can support you from the moment you know you’re expecting, through pregnancy and birth, until your child is 18 years old (or up to 25 for children and young people with special educational needs).
The Centres, offer a wide range of free health, education and welfare services to families and aim to give everyone in Brent the best possible start in life.

If you cannot afford to buy food and need emergency items, there are a number of food banks in Brent that may be able to support you:
If you are struggling to get food for yourself or your family, please contact your local hubs, where an application can be made for food support through the Crisis Support Fund if you are eligible.

If you are more than 10 weeks pregnant or have a child under 4, you may be eligible for Healthy Start Vouchers, which help towards the cost of some fresh foods.
In addition your school-aged children may be eligible for Free School Meals.
Free vitamins are available for all pregnant women and children under 4.
Young children and those who are pregnant, and breastfeeding may not be getting enough vitamin A, C and D in their diet. Taking vitamins can help to support your baby develop in the womb and keep your body healthy during pregnancy and while you are breastfeeding.
Free vitamins are available to collect from Family Wellbeing Centres in Brent.
