If youβve found your way here, we just want you to know one thing first: youβre not alone β and youβre very welcome here.
At Basch Helps CIC, everything we do is rooted in listening. Since our beginnings during lockdown, weβve walked alongside parents, carers, and families through moments of joy, uncertainty, exhaustion, hope, and hardship. This blog is an extension of that same belief β that when people are given a safe space to speak, share, and be heard, real change can happen.
This space has been created for open, honest conversations about life and wellbeing. Weβll be talking about womenβs health, pregnancy, parenthood, emotional wellbeing, and the realities that donβt always make it into everyday conversation. Itβs a place where thoughts, worries, questions, and feelings donβt need to be hidden or explained away β they can simply exist.
We also know that support shouldnβt feel complicated or overwhelming. Thatβs why youβll find practical guides, clear information, and gentle signposting to help you access the NHS and other trusted community services in our local area β especially in moments when you need help most.
π± Your Voice Belongs Here
This blog isnβt just something we write β itβs something we build together.
We warmly welcome guest posts from parents aged 18 and over, carers, community members, professionals, advocates, and anyone with lived experience who wants to share their voice. Whether youβd like to write about pregnancy, motherhood, mental health, navigating services, personal challenges, recovery, or the small things that help you get through the day β your story matters.
You donβt need to be a writer. You donβt need perfect words. You just need honesty, kindness, and a willingness to share.
To help keep this space safe, supportive, and respectful for everyone, all comments and replies are moderated before being published. We do this with care β not to silence voices, but to protect them.
Most of all, this blog is about connection β learning from one another and improving our community services through thoughtful discussion, shared experiences, and trust.
Whether youβre here to read, reflect, or contribute β this space is for you.
Thank you for being here.
Weβre really glad you found us.
With care,
The Basch Helps CIC Team
