Camden Giving has awarded Basch Helps CIC a We Make Camden Kit grant. The vital funding will go towards contributing to the Core mission of the charity by delivering our baby emergency relief packages to families across the borough of Camden.
“We very much thank Camden Giving and their resident panellists for giving us the opportunity to re-establish our crucial service in the hope of letting newborn’s not just survive but thrive and look forward to a future in which we can benefit and support as many families as possible in the borough of Camden”
What the grant is about:
The We Make Camden Kit is a partnership between Camden Citizens, Camden Council, Camden Giving, and Camden businesses. We’re funding and supporting great ideas that will make Camden a better place. The goal is to help achieve Camden’s Core Missions by 2030; everyone eats well every day, young people have great opportunities, there’s diversity amongst people in power and we’re living in sustainable neighbourhoods.
Who is Camden Giving:
Camden Giving is an independent charity working to end local poverty and inequality in Camden.
They were set-up in 2017 as a participatory funder because we believe that the people who are surviving inequality are the people who can, and should, fund the solutions to the challenges facing communities in Camden.
