Since were entering our 4th year in supporting newborn’s with our AngelBox emergency relief package and since the successful introduction of our parent support complimentary service and our transformation well and over, our wider societal impact is beginning to show as we lead from the front in bringing innovative ways to eliminate baby poverty and improve our relationships with parents in hardship.
As the sun reigns in on our beautiful city, the volunteers of our community enterprise are hard at work whether their answering our busy switchboard, chatting to a parent on WhatsApp or knocking on the door for either delivering a wonderful bespoke AngelBox emergency relief package or dropping by for a chat about life and the baby or children.
Our approach to supporting the community is unrivalled and rewarding for everyone involved. The feedback from referrers and parents has been superb recently with testimonials such as “Amazing generosity by your organisation for this family in need- you really have made such a difference to their lives, thank you!” to giving us 8’s, 9’s & 10’s across the board for reasons such as:

Parents to have been very supportive with our efforts in the last 2 months with some even accepting deliveries well past midnight and we thank them for their trust in the matter.
The hospitality from parents recently has been overwhelming as the temperature rises and this really motivates our volunteers to go the extra mile in ensuring our emergency relief network stays operational, all thanks to cups of tea, a few cokes and many bottles of water.
We also want to give a massive shout out to the parents who are using our support services because it takes a lot of guts to start a conversation and ask for help and we’re proud that they have entrusted us to support them on a journey of recovery and help them navigate life through a more clearer lens.
Lastly, the babies and their older siblings who we see everyday for us is a remarkable moment as they are the stars that light up our lives as volunteers from milk vomiting projectiles to permanent marker tattoos or scribbles on our paperwork, it’s fun to be around the very young lives we support.
In further news, to cope with rising demand in the North West, West and Central parts of London we’re pushing a few more AngelBox emergency packages each evening with the help of our Zipcar trial which has proven very effective especially for those acute last minute baby or parent emergencies that can’t wait until the next day, so far it’s working great but comes at a greater cost.
