In the past few weeks, Basch Helps CIC has had numerous calls with regards to walk-in assessments and in person collections of their AngelBox.
Update: 6th December 2021
Although all our staff and volunteers are double or triple vaccinated and adhere to a strict code of conduct in terms of healthy and safety, we as an organisation are not in a position to welcome any walk-in assessments neither do we allow for in person collection of an AngelBox or any emergency relief we may offer from our warehouse.
Throughout the pandemic, our organisation has insisted upon a rigorous testing regime, where our brilliant staff and volunteers cannot even enter any part of our office or warehouse without taking a lateral flow on the day of arrival. All goods and stock arriving from our suppliers are all quarantined for 48 hours in an isolated part of our warehouse before they are distributed, these protocols have ensured our community services continue to operate effectively without any disruption which the coronavirus may cause if where not careful.
Currently where seeing informative trends from a variety of recognisable sources that the Delta & Omicron are now the dominant variants of the disease, cases continue to rise and so does hospitalisations.
Therefore to avoid any possible exposure or contamination which may render our staff ill or the goods we distribute to require constant quarantining, we have decided to suspend any office visits from the public until Spring 2022.Â
We also do not offer a collection service from our warehouse, each AngelBox weighs between 25kg to 30kg and as a matter of health and safety and being a very personal service. We only deliver AngelBoxes to your home, we have a chat and we grow our relationship and continue to check on your welfare. This is non-negotiable.Â
