Demand for an AngelBox in the boroughs of Brent, Camden and Westminster keep climbing and we keep providing the best early intervention & emergency relief services
From beautiful Wembley and following the Harrow Road all the way to Kings Cross and beyond. Our AngelBox team has done an amazing job in fulfilling AngelBox referrals and direct applicants requests for our community service to the point where we have begun hiring and training new volunteers to better cope with future demand.Â
Parents of newborns have been overwhelmed with our level of commitment, thats combined with a readiness to serve our clients to the best of our abilities but genuinely appreciate the brand new abundance of essential and mandatory items we provide for their most cherished loved one’s.
With a particular surge in direct applications from vulnerable lone-parents and families that reside in the St-Johns Wood estate, Lisson Grove estate and the stretch of the Harrow Road from the Chalkhill Estates, Sudbury, Wembley Central, Harlesden, Willesden, the Mozart estate area to Paddington Central and Edgware Road.
There has also been an increase for mental health support, post delivery and our team where more than happy to take the time to either visit applicants home’s to check on the welfare of mother & baby, or to have a chat about their progress into parenthood.
In these boroughs, we have also seen a 58% increase in calls, 3 months after delivery of AngelBox requesting top-up’s of mandatory items such as nappies, milk formula, clothes and food jars.
Lastly we would like to thank the concerted efforts of the borough led referral teams, particularly the Brent Early Help Team’s who continue to utilise our community services for the betterment and benefit of their residents.
