Simply the best, recognition for the generosity of the Two Magpies grant and for firmly standing by us and believing in our AngelBox community service.
Our entire voluntary workforce and on behalf of the parents and most importantly the newborn’s express their sincere thanks to the Two Magpies Fund for their generous grant for the period January 2023 to April 2023.
The Two Magpies Fund team is very much part of the Basch Helps CIC family and without this crucial emergency funding, we would have really struggled to continue or even worse cutback on our community service offering.
The generous funding for the year 2023 came at a time when demand for our AngelBox & Parent Support services saw unprecedented growth due to the cost of living crunch and in part due to the closure or suspension of services from similar charitable organisations.
The funding also allowed us to expand our complimentary parent support services in particular our outreach in befriending new parents who are socially isolated or quietly suffering from ill-health and supporting their recovery. The generosity of the funding also allowed us to restart our vanity pack project which is designed to break the ice and promote self-healing and personal care particularly hygiene.
Overall, we are delighted to have supported a whopping 193 London babies with their very own bespoke AngelBox & baby equipment, a further 95 children, siblings of the main beneficiary aged 3-10 years received a hygiene/activity pack.
We honestly can’t imagine a life without the Two Magpies Fund and their very supportive team, for 2 years in a row they’ve firmly had our back at critical times and helped us survive not only through the covid pandemic but also through the winter months at the peak of the cost of living crisis.
In the end such a privilege is becoming increasingly rare, and to simply say thank you isn’t enough anymore.
We Love You Always & Forever
