We are delighted to announce that our community organisation has been featured in both the London Evening Standard (print & digital) and The Independent (digital) newspapers as part of their On the Breadline Christmas Appeal which has so far raised a heart-warming £3.3 million for charitable & community organisations across the country.
Take the time to read our featured article which highlights our work and gives perspective on what it’s like for our volunteers on a daily basis when delivering emergency relief and how we thrive to support parents.
We also would like to offer a warm thanks & salute to the mum who supported our article with an interview about her home situation and how AngelBox has supported her and the children.
Money raised through the On the Breadline Christmas Appeal which is being jointly run by the Evening Standard, The Independent and Comic Relief will provide much needed financial support to the AngelBox community service at a time where demand is at an all time high across all the boroughs we serve.
We would like to offer our thanks to the Teams at Groundwork UK & Comic Relief for nominating our community organisation to be part of the On The Breadline Christmas Appeal 2022.
We also would like to give a big shout out to Anna Davis, a wonderful journalist who conducted the interview with our AngelBox Programme Leader.
