If you, partner or children have not yet taken preventative measures which shield you from the Measles, Mumps & Rubella viruses, now’s the time to really consider getting your vaccination booked. If caught these diseases can easily spread amongst your family and friends causing outbreaks which can really hinder your quality of life and ability to look after your children particularly if your a vulnerable adult.
Luckily the NHS have deployed all their resources in London to get as many people in the local communities protected and safe but unfortunately people remain sceptical about the vaccines efficacy and therefore are ignoring the warnings. According to the latest statistics provided by the gov.uk website as of April 2024, 39.8% of of measles cases were in London (76 of 191).
