The simple answer is yes. Basch Helps CIC believes in full traceability of the baby items and equipment we offer as part of our AngelBox emergency relief package.
We never accept donated goods or second hand items.
Because your baby deserves the best.
No AngelBox is built the same. Once your AngelBox assessment is complete, your babies AngelBox specifications are sent to our warehouse for packing. After all the necessary checks the warehouse will update our system that your AngelBox is ready for delivery and your assessor will schedule a delivery based on availability in your area.
Normally all deliveries occur within 72 hours after packing. You’ll automatically receive a notification by email with a designated date and time as well as instructions if any on what to expect on the day.
We also send a WhatsApp message notifying you that your delivery is on it’s way and the delivery team will call you upto 1 hour before delivery to check if your home.
Once you receive an AngelBox, you and your children are part of the Basch Helps community. Our team will aim to support your family for as long as possible through a range of wonderful additional services such as our:
Our Befriending Service: When times are extremely tough, we naturally tend to exclude ourselves from the people we know and love. Sometimes the problem or issue is best kept a secret because you feel no one will understand your circumstance or we just want to avoid being blamed.
That’s why all parents are invited to join our excellent 1 to 1 befriending service where our experienced and specially trained volunteers who have experienced similar issues in their lives can support you on a journey of hope and recovery.
Our Freephone Parent Support Line: In May 2022, we launched an 0800 parent support line which is exclusive to parents who do not have access to a telephone or internet. The service is available 24 hours and you’ll always speak to a senior volunteer who will listen non-judgmentally and discuss your concerns and issues in full confidence.
Access to our WhatsApp Service: Our WhatsApp service is available 6 days a week, has many features to keep you updated about our valiant community service and the progress we’re making but most importantly gives parents a chance to speak to one of the team quickly and the best part is it doesn’t have to be about AngelBox, it can be about your newborns progress or about you.
Basch Helps CIC does provide top-ups to newborns that are experiencing extreme deprivation or at risk of ill-health or malnutrition.
However this decision falls on the home assessment which is filled by our wonderful volunteers after visiting your home and meeting you in person.
The first step is to call our office on 0204 551 8540 or WhatsApp us with your AngelBox reference and request your top-up.
There are many reasons why your AngelBox application may have been rejected by Basch Helps CIC.
The most common reason why applications from direct applicants have been rejected is because the supporting evidence requested, a mandatory part of our assessment has not been sent.
Another common reason is the applicant has misdeclared something on their application form which during our screening process we have found not to be true.
All applications which are rejected will be notified by email without the right to appeal the decision.
