In May 2022, Basch Helps CIC was awarded an Edward Harvist Trust grant to further the support the vulnerable families and newborn’s with our flagship AngelBox community service.
As the cost of living rises and we continue to see a surge in demand for AngelBoxes, our summer season will be now more secure, parents will have more access to 1 to 1 support and most importantly the newborn’s we serve will prosper beautifully in their early development and growth and this is all thanks to the generosity of the Edward Harvist Trust.
What is the Edward Harvist Trust?
The Edward Harvist Charity was established in 1610 from the estate of a prominent local landowner Edward Harvist. The original purpose of the charity was to maintain two roads in North West London, the Edgware Road and Harrow Road. This responsibility was passed to Local Authorities and the Charity and its purpose were revised to assist sick and elderly people living in the boroughs bordering the two roads including Barnet, Brent, Camden, Harrow and the City of Westminster.
